D'arcy's father, D'socra, is an elf and a lawyer and her mother, Catriona, was a human. Her mother's death is a bit of a mystery to D'arcy. Her father has always been vague on the subject. She was mostly raised by her father's housekeeper Hannah G'Ruen since her father buried himself in his work after his beloved wife's death. At Elmspire Academy, D'arcy was an excellent student and was popular with her fellow students, despite having a reputation as being a bit uptight. Her best friends are Raven Smebs and Raven's cousin Arianee Foggy. For fun they would solve mysteries together on campus. She also is dating Rickend Noens, but they have a very casual relationship (according to D'arcy, maybe not so much according to Rick). She believes in truth and justice and wants to right the wrongs in the world, which has lead her down the path of becoming a paladin.
