The Goddess of the blue moon Salu, and a later addition to the sancstorylian pantheon, Selûne arrived on Sancstoryl sometime after the Era of the Gods, together with her sister Shar. It is said that both arrived on Sancstoryl from another Wildspace System, far away from Sanctospace, in order to recover from a grueling fight. According to legends, Selûne was the one who introduced Light and Life to their original Wildspace System, only for Shar to become furious at her for ruining her perfect dead darkness, and the two sisters have been fighting since.
After Selûne's arrival to Sancstoryl, she took over the representation of Sancstoryl's blue moon, Salu, while Sehanine Moonbow, the original moon-goddess, represents the yellow moon, Hanina. Considered motherly and free, Selûne and her moon's blue light bring comfort to many looking at the night sky.
