Amnis is the younger brother of the famous trader Limni Diluvi, as well as the Head-Shaman of the Uqakian Neroponti-Tribe, living in the eastern argentian Calmwater Woods. Despite having been a simple hunter and originally not the first choice to become Shaman, as the position was originally supposed to go to Limni, Amnis became the Neroponti-Tribe's head-shaman when Limni left the tribe and their village in order to go adventuring. Despite not being nearly as religious or talented as Limni, the only other option for head-shaman was Amnis, as he also had his fathers' shamanic bloodline.
Despite initially not wanting the position, Amnis has now slowly settled into being his tribes' head-shaman. Nonetheless, Amnis is still not quite as religiously versed as is expected of him, which has lead to a few problems here and there. It certainly helps that, from time to time, Limni comes back to visit his family to drop off some funds and spend some time with his family... and to teach Amnis some scripture.
