The minor deities of Illiad, subservient to the major deities Rencal Kei-Rhai, Merikira te Ruvea, The Golden Scribe and Sh'ther Kei-Sihr. Most of them are considered the younger siblings of Rencal, Merikira and The Scribe, with the only exceptions being Prethao and Tahvihsa, who are considered the "children", or spawn, of Sh'ther.
Many Grand Counts are noted to mingle with mortal Illiadians in disguises and even sire half-deities known as Children of the Cathedral, who more often than not act as prophets or champions.
