Dissonance in body and soul
The versatility of humanity, especially humanity from worlds beyond Illiad, has resulted in some human genes weaseling themselves into some Dorro bloodlines, despite Dorro not generally being able to breed with humans, much unlike Sancstorylian Dragons. And even though they are an incredibly rare phenomenon, Draco-homunculi are the result of these strange happenings. From time to time, it can happen that, instead of a normal Dorro hatchling, a baby that is completely human in body can be born from Dorro; usually in life birth, compared to the usual Dorro method of laying eggs. Draco-Homunculi are, at least in body, completely human. Sometimes, they have some features that resemble their Dorro parents, like unusual eye colors, but they otherwise tend to be unrecognizable from normal Illiadian Humans... That is, until you inspect their souls. Draco-homunculi are, in fact, Dorro souls in human bodies. Most Draco-homunculi thus tend to have a natural resistance to their parents' natural breath weapons, and tend to have instincts and behaviors that resemble dragons more than humans. It's not unheard of that Draco-homunculi may search for ways to fully turn into Dorro, as the disconnect between how they look and how they feel is a discomfort for many of them; sometimes they even have success in these efforts. Though many have to wait until the ends of their life to truly be themselves.
