First of all, as Sooty's player is now available, we resolved Sooty's downtime. No scrolls were transcribed due to conserving money, but Sooty started week 1 of 7 to train for the War Caster feat.

Sooty also decided to have his fortune told. Sooty's cards (drawn post-session) were The Mage (representing his practice of the Arcane), the Maze in reversed position (representing the search for a missing person), and the Prisoner card (representing a situation where someone is held captive.)

The party is enjoying a simple breakfast of bread rolls with an assortment of cheeses and cold cuts. Volk Lesnoy and Philomena Snapdragon meanwhile have left everyone else to properly test out the magical weapons that they acquired the day before (due to their players not being present). As the party finished eating, they had a run-in with Zeolon "Scruffy" Nimblehoof, who told them that he was able to get permission to use the HQ's training room from Edver Moonmore for the proposed rematch, but as it currently was in use by several high-tiered adventurers and silver-starred leaders of the Liwilai Adventurer's Guild, the rematch would only be possible on the next day, and that there may be a bit of an audience as some of the adventurers overheard. Nonetheless he hopes to see everyone tomorrow.

After this small chat, Captain Ukren Schwerter approached the party. Mentioning Scruffy's plans for tomorrow, he talks about how several of his colleagues in the silver-star leadership tier will be watching, so please make a good impression. He also tells them what he was currently planning for them, as he mentioned yesterday; he wants to approve them for jobs outside the city, across The Argentian Republic, but still needs to finish the last paperwork in order to update the quest board filter. In the meantime, he recommends the party to perhaps explore the city a bit. The team agrees, and after a short heart-to-heart between Zora and Dareth Lion'el, the party went on their way, especially since Dareth still wants to purchase a set of splint armor.

On their way to the Blacksmith shop "Irons in the Fire" by the Silver Harbour, the party noticed a wanted poster for a man called Garlath Corwell, 100 Gold for an alive capture, and stashed that one away for later. As the party arrives at the Blacksmith's, Dareth first buys himself a suit of Split Armor for 200 Gold. Then, the party asks the blacksmith if he has some interesting items; also for Maya, Zora's dog. The first one, a collar, wouldn't have really worked on Maya. The second one, some Bracers of Defense, would've been way to expensive at 12.000 Gold. Eventually, Zora settled on getting some Chain Mail Barding for her made, for 300 Gold, but wasn't quite able to buy it with her money. Thankfully, Mikhail jumped in and offered 105 Gold of his own money. Zora promised that she'd pay that back as soon as possible.

The party then made their way to Great n' Good General, a general store not far away from the Liwilai Adventurer's Guild HQ. On their way there, they met an odd... individual wearing a trench coat, hood and fedora, asking them if they could perhaps buy some blasting powder for them, as the store owner doesn't want to sell to them. Suspicious, the party gave the individual a quick lookover, finding out that they are actually three tribal red kobolds from outside the city, near Vant'ra, in a crafty disguise, and looking a far cry from the well-groomed and civilized Kilbi Leaftooth. Turns out they need it to get rid of a wolf's den, which has given their tribe trouble, as the wolves have stolen several of their younglings. The party eventually agreed, and with the money they've been given (and a bit out of pocket), bought them two packs of Blasting Powder... while Sooty got themselves some dice. The kobolds thanked the party and went on their merry way.

As they further explored the city, and pondered a little about what name they may give to their group, currently known as Group AG-8, the party noticed a hooded individual, flanked by several people. It was the guy from the wanted poster! One expertly planned takedown later, the party was rewarded by the city guard with 200 Gold for the entire party. Satisfied, the group went back to HQ.

Session End!
