The Party splits up as they prepare for their missions. Volk Lesnoy, Philomena Snapdragon and Sooty go get supplies for traveling, while Dareth Lion'el, Zora and Mikhail seek out Eduardo Marqués.
The group that looked for Eduardo found him eating lunch at a Raj'kotan restaurant, called the Rajah's Crown, where he was having and enjoying some extra spicy Tikka Masala. Zora and Dareth were intruiged by the food and decided to order something, too, as Eduardo offered them to pay their bill. Dareth got the same thing as Eduardo, while Zora got herself some Chicken Vindaloo. Zora was able to handle the spice quite well, but Dareth and his Galonian tongue really wasn't able to handle it at all. Eduardo then explained that he was able to acquire the rights to manufacture and sell certain kitchen utensils in The Principality of Argond from someone in Argentis, and now needs to go through The Darkwoods, to Gijé, in order to prepare his journey back to the Principality. The party will need to escort him, his carriage and his driver. After this explanation, and after the party finished their plates, they said goodbye to each other and agreed to meet up at the Darkwood Way later.
The other half of the party visited the Great n' Good General general store in order to get some supplies. Volk flirted with the female shopkeeper, who immediately rebutted him, telling him she's married. The party then proceeded to buy rations and tents.
After a short conversation between the different members of Group AG-8 about relationships, love and women, the party then met up with Eduardo and his driver Carlos, and went on their way towards the Darkwoods. On their first day of travel, as they traversed the road besides the western farms of Argentis, they found a body in the wheat field; which, after investigating, turned out to be an aspiring adventurer called Revar Netherthorne, who was quite obviously robbed and killed. The party, (after Dareth decided to take his Explorer's Pack) then informed a farmer, who is going to inform a guardsman, and the party went on their way, setting up camp near the edge of the Darkwoods as the day turned to night. During the night, Mikhail, played by the DM due to an absence, met a strange, hairy man who skipped along, danced and sung about magic beans, and gave Mikhail one, before leaving.
The second day, the party made their first steps into the Darkwoods, where they soon realized that a presence was following them. Soon, they discovered that the road had been buried and hidden by something, and traversing it became impossible, which is why the party decided to circumvent the road for now, rather than clearing the way and adding a few more days of travel. However, as the party made camp and had their watches over the night, they couldn't help but feel watched... and Dareth, who slept in his armor and gained a point of exhaustion due to it, caught a glimpse of a creature with red eyes and a scruffy appearance that ran away upon being sighted, shortly before the night ended.
As the party then continued to travel on the third day, they encountered a wounded Elf who sought help from the party, after getting attacked by wolves. However, the party, thanks to Sooty, was able to realize that someone was off with him. That's when he decided to stop the farce and revealed himself to be a Wolfwere, the opposite of a Werewolf, a Wolf that can turn into a humanoid; and a cruel creation of Malar. However, despite the attempted ambush, the party was able to quickly dispatch it and its pack of Wolves and Dire Wolves. However, Volk seemed to be stressed out after this encounter.
After once again finding the road, realizing that its obstruction was the Wolfwere's doing, the party made camp for the night... as both Hanina and Salu, the two moons, illuminate the sky behind the treetops in their full glory.
