An old noble clan from the southern mountains of Galon, hundreds of years before the Royal Union of Albia, Galon and Wanil was established. Originally a well-intentioned noble family which strictly followed the tenets of Tyr, a lust for power eventually corrupted the family, turning them towards the worship of evil gods and devils, most notably the god of Conquest, Strife and Tyranny, Bane. They tyrannized the people of their lands, even working together with the forces of Tiamat and her Chromatic Dragons to do so, before being struck down and scattered by one Karl Griffmane, progenitor of the Griffmane Family.
While Clan Steelhand has been officially extinct for at least 8 centuries as of the 22nd century PW, its descendants seemingly have reformed into the heads of a criminal organization and cult called The Bloodletters.
