The Agate Seekers continue to fight their way through Raul Ammon's hideout, with Zora's rage slowly intensifying. As they reach the entrance to his office,  Philomena Snapdragon does prepare an attack, which Zora encourages. Once the door is opened, and the attack sprung, a fight breaks out as Raul quickly realizes that the opportunity to talk just evaporated.

A fight is had, and Raul is being protected by two of his men with spellcasting abilities, a wizard and a spellcasting rogue. It soon becomes clear that Raul was in possession of magic bracelet that diverts all his damage towards to animated statues. Soon however, the party takes out the wizard, and after Volk Lesnoy nearly fell to the spellcasting rogue, both Statues. At that point, Raul is starting to panic and rummaging through his bag. However, a coordinated effort of Dareth Lion'el Griffmane, Volk and Zora is able to, finally, take Raul out of the picture... though the permanence of doing so was quite accidental, as Zora just let her rage flow free. Raul Ammon, scourge of Magrasta, is dead.

After the battle, the party was able to look through the office and loot Raul's body, finding not only a few useful magic items, but also Zora's missing person poster, a doctored version made to look like a wanted-poster, as well as a letter from a "Z.V." of an organization called the Jailers of the End, thanking him for stealing a "Star Circlet of Prophecy" 10 years ago. Seemingly, this letter was enclosed with the statues and bracelet. Philomena immediately notices that the handwriting of this letter is familiar... and then realizes that it's identical with the handwriting of her fateful client, who tasked her with stealing from the clergy of Ilmater.

Dareth meanwhile notices another letter... an unfinished letter for Magnus Steelhand of The Bloodletters, where Raul called him out for stealing from the Jailers of the End, before bluntly saying that they were through. This confirmed that Raul had at least some correspondence with the Bloodletters at one point.

Soon, a secret entrance to Raul's money vault is found. The party, already hearing Countess Evelyn Nightfall's forces approach, quickly collect some of the money in secret before it is confiscated. As they make their way outside though, they see the Countess' forces arrest many members of Raul's gang, as well as a few corrupt city guards. However, a few of Raul's men, including a high-ranking member of the gang, were able to flee, and they apparently took many of the art objects in the vault for contraband with them.

Zora and her adopted dad have a proper reunion, and the two make plans to have a proper talk, including with Zora's adopted mom. As they say goodbye, Zora goes on to meet with the shopkeeper who she punched in the face on the day she and Mikhail left Magrasta, while the rest of the party are making their way to the Liwilai Adventurer's Guild with Genfir Fiellonnen. Zora does apologize to the shopkeeper, one Arturo Albacete, but he's taken it in stride; her punching him resulted in him looking into his son his friends, who was keeping illegal contraband in his shop, and throwing him out. Thankfully, the shopkeeper kept Zora's necklace, and happily returned it to her.

After returning to the Adventurer's Guildhall in Magrasta, and returning Genfir to his team, much to the surprise of the receptionist, the party returns to Argentis through the teleportation circle. There, at the HQ of the Adventurer's Guild, the party finds Briza Tinaari, Captain Ukren Schwerter and Marlène Lebas in deep conversation. Ukren turns to the party in joy; turns out that rescuing Genfir was supposed to be their Rank-Up mission into the Bishop-Tier, but Briza was still scouting things out before the mission could be given. However, the fact that the party was able to do so without even taking on the mission reflected positively on the party and him as their manager. Thus, the party is rewarded particularly generously, and immediately elevated into the Bishop tier, as well as given 3 entire weeks off.

After their reward, the party then returned to the A Taste of Home, only to find a small sign at the door. "For the foreseeable future, please expect longer service-times. We apologize for the inconvenience". And as the party opens the door, they find Furnando, currently tending to Kilbi Leaftooth... and she has an arm in a sling.
