The Agate Seekers continue their fight from last time, with Volk Lesnoy and Dareth Lion'el Griffmane on the heels of the invisible Rakshasa, with the rest of the party fighting the Invisible Stalker. After some targeted hits by Zora, Philomena Snapdragon and a Fireball by Sooty, however, the Invisible Stalker disappeared into thin air. After getting frustrated by Volk, it came out of invisibility to attack, but wasn't able to properly poison Volk due to his resilience. Dareth then helped Volk out, until Philomena landed the finishing blow with her revolver, banishing the Fiend back whence it came; but not before it swore revenge on the party.
The party then reconvened with Horvyn Quickstamp, as Volk slowly turned back into a more humanoid form, with his illusory body reforming around him. Horvyn was being threatened by the Hobgoblin assassins and this Rakshasa so that they could acquire the Mirror of the Perfect Moment that the party found in the temple bunker. Thankfully, Philomena's quick thinking by giving it her Last Rites pistol turned the tide in that regard.
The party then searched the bodies, finding a significant amount of Money... as well as a handwritten note by a "Norbert Staudinger", talking about how the Party was starting to become a problem in his superiors' plans, and how he decided against their judgement to do something about them, hiring assassins to either steal the artifact... or kill one or multiple members of the Party as a warning. Enclosed was also a very... creatively... drawn picture of everyone in the party that left quite a few in the party laughing.
After getting paid by Horvyn, the party then went to bed in the tents set up by Horvyn and his excavation crew, ready to set out back home the next day, intending to deliver the mirror to Limni Diluvi themselves. Horvyn talked about sending a Sending to Limni, which caught Dareth's attention, having a very important person in mind to contact, when Sooty mentioned that he could learn the spell himself. However, after learning that the person needs to be known by the caster, he decided to bide his time, until Sooty could do so.
