We return to the party as they, Limni Diluvi and Cipactli Hatched-At-Dawn arrive in the spaceport of Elmbihie. There, the party sees an assortment of different sights, such as Astral Elves, Giant Hamsters and what appeared to be intelligent Penguins.
Cipactli then told the party what exactly he was here to do; he bought an upgrade for the ship that would allow Mikhail and Dareth Lion'el Griffmane to switch places with active party members, as to not overload the party; the Transposition-System. While it was being installed, the party could look through several of the shops on the asteroid-base, since they currently had enough money saved up through their two dragon-fights on Ljuha.
The party proceeded to do just that, first visiting a high-end magic item shop called The Arcane Gate, owned by a Giff wizard. There, after perusing the wares, they bought a Blizzard Sphere, a Ring of Fire Resistance and a Gilded Ticket; an item for emergency teleportations.
Next, the party visited the local gun store, also owned by a Giff, "Smoke and Guns". Philomena Snapdragon bought a new gun there... Or rather a gun-blade, a pistol and shortsword in one; a Night Hawk Slayer. Two magical bullets, the Problem Solvers, were also bought, as they could temporarily banish creatures.
Last, the party visited the local Tiefling Blacksmith, The Fires of Pai, where Volk Lesnoy bought a nice, new spear for himself, while selling a bunch of unused magic items and most of his dragon parts.
After reconvening with Limni and Cipactli, the party rested at the Dead God's Crown Inn with some very good Night Scavver stew. The party then departed the next day.
While maneuvering through the Shards, the Asteroid Belt of Sanctospace, the party was then ambushed by a gigantic Space Galleon with a crew of Githyanki and with a Pirate Flag, depicting a comedy mask and a pile of gold. That's when a familiar voice to both Cerviel and Limni was heard; the voice of Veritas Avaritia. Limni was able to contact him with a Sending and the ambush was stopped, as Veritas boarded the Flying Fish ship to meet his old friend, using a copper pair of wings on his back, which Limni noted were new.
The encounter was marked by Veritas' childlike excitement, but also by his greed for things, when Veritas showed jealousy over the ship's Transposition System for example; Limni was able to get him to calm down a bit after possibly offering the ship to him after the the mission was over. Cerviel showed some annoyance at his old companion, especially since he's been ignoring Veritas' Sendings for a while.
Additionally, when M.U.61 and Veritas talked, the subject of G.U-VI came up, and plans were made so that MUGI could meet his "older brother" after the mission. Some more conversation was head, with Candavira AKA "Candle" being mentioned to currently be in The Astral Plane. And eventually Limni asked Veritas if he could perhaps escort the party back to Sancstoryl so that they could pick up their allies for the last leg of the mission; to which Veritas readily agreed, especially when Limni likened the whole thing as a big old slumber party.
