The eldest child of the House of the Dragon, Gyeong-Hui always knew that one day she would inherit her mother's seat on the Waterfall Throne in Unknown. To avoid the very real risk of her growing up too fast and without any understanding or connection to the other castes, Gyeong-Hui's parents arranged for her to travel incognito while she was young. This allowed her to experience life among many of her future people. While on these travels, she stopped for a time in Unknown where she met her future husband, Han Seong-Min, who was studying for his exams at the time.
There are also rumors which have never been substantiated that Her Imperial Majesty lived among the Baekjeong for a time, working as a member of The Imperial Gwishin Bureau.
