Sitar will say she must return to Raam to harvest the heart of Abalach-Re so she can become an Avangion.
They discover that a large halfling army has left the Crescent Forest and is moving east across the desert.
While following the army they will come to the settlement of Wonderwall that the party had created for ex-slaves with the help of the earth elemental Perap who they freeded from Key Hold Prison. To their horror they discover that a week ago a man turned up offering water, he claimed to be a water elemental - nearly three days later, after the man and his wagon had left, people started to fall sick. Now, they are all dead and Perap is the only one alive to tell the tale.
The man was Wheelock who they attacked at the Poisoners Pit. He is after revenge.
If they continue to follow the army they meet up with the Blue Halflings outside of Cleft Rock Well. They have already removed the Dark Lens from the rocks. They are keeping it in a chariot/wagon pulled by eight war Crodlu.
Then they catch site of two more armies one on either side of the halfling army - from their banners they might be able to tell that the army to the west of the halflings is from Gulg and the army to the south is from Balic.
As they watch - they see riders - riding under a flag of messengers ride out from the two other armies to the halfling army. If they find a way to discover what's going on it has been agreed that the armies will meet tomorrow morning and do battle for the Dark Lens.
Gulg led by Ram Torf and Balic led by General Zanthiros have a joint cause and will fight together against the halflings. Both Andropinis and Lalali-Puy see the halfling as a potential threat to their rule.
The two opposing sides are of about equal size. The party can decide to help one side or none.
If they fight in the battle they are sought out in the fighting by Akvos Kastinoff and Ros Kastinoff the sons of Magavish Kastinoff who was robbed by the party. They will seek revenge whether they are fighting for their side or not.
If the forces of Gulg and Balic are victorious there leaders will argue about who gets to take the Dark Lens.
If the Blue Halflings win they will carry the Dark Lens on mass to the Pristine Tower. Despite their sizable army having been reinforced by the halflings of the forest they will lose a considerable number on the approach to the tower. This is due to the psionic energy around the landmark as well as the sizable number of ghouls who guard the territory. There they will use the Dark Lens to free Raajat from the hollow or dark plane as it is otherwise known.
