Flanders is a recurring semi-antagonist to Omersinso. Stricter sects hold him to represent a heretical strain of thought centered around ecstatic optimism and quietistic faith, one which represents a fallen world and its failed ideology. Omersinso rebukes him through action or dialogue, enforcing a more pragmatic approach to the world, in his typical manner of the holy clown archetype. In the most notable Épiso of this type, Omersinso punishes Flanders by slaying his wife Moðflanders.
