It is a large and imposing stone structure located on the way to the Sulphur Plains. The Caravanserai was built during the height of the Sky and Sea Routes trade and served as a hub for merchants and travellers who needed a safe and secure place to rest and trade their goods.
The exterior of the Caravanserai is decorated with intricate carvings and ornate archways, giving it a grand and majestic appearance. The inner courtyard is large and spacious, with a central fountain and several covered areas for travellers to rest and conduct business.
The Bazaar-i-Sabz has two levels of rooms and storage areas surrounding the courtyard, accessible by narrow stairways and corridors. The rooms are small and sparsely furnished, but comfortable enough to provide travellers with a good night's sleep. The lower level is used for the storage of goods and livestock, while the upper level is reserved for human accommodation.
The Caravanserai is also known for its bustling marketplace, which surrounds it. Here, merchants from all over the region come to sell their goods, ranging from spices and silks to jewellery and ceramics. The market is always lively, with haggling and bartering taking place under the watchful eyes of armed guards.
