The Malignant Warlock

Antonius Grim, known as the Malignant, was a Human Archfey pact Warlock driven by his insatiable ambition and overwhelming desires. With an arrogant and entitled demeanor, he believed himself to be superior to those around him, including the unfortunate Myst whom he saw as nothing more than a pawn in his grand scheme.

When Myst showed even the slightest hint of warmth towards him, Grim saw it as an opportunity to exploit her situation and further his own agenda. Oblivious to the depths of her enslavement in the Fortress of Sorrow, he saw her as Dark Crow's prized possession and sought to use it to establish himself in higher echelons of power. He had no qualms about betraying Dark Crow, considering him a mere stepping stone in his pursuit of greater influence and a more formidable patron.

However, when Myst rejected his plans and his treachery became evident to the cursed Archfey of Betrayal and the Darklings, Grim found himself facing the dire consequences of his actions. He soon discovered that some Warlock pacts are far more exacting and binding than he had ever imagined. The powers he had gained through his pact with the Archfey turned against him, punishing him for his deceit and greed.

Realizing the severity of his predicament, Grim desperately sought out a new patron to save himself from the imminent consequences of his actions. In his search for a powerful entity that could offer him protection and escape the wrath of the Archfey, he turned to Acamar, one of the corpse stars that lurked within the Deep Astral. Acamar, with its eerie twilight and haunting atmosphere, seemed like a fitting patron for the twisted and corrupted intentions of the Malignant.

Embracing the Star Pact, Grim forged a new pact with Acamar, binding himself to the dark and otherworldly powers emanating from the corpse star. This pact granted him access to eldritch energies that twisted his mind and granted him new abilities fueled by the gloom and paranoia of the Far Realm. Yet, even with this new source of power, Grim could never escape the consequences of his past actions or the looming shadows of the Archfey he had betrayed.

The Malignant, now a Star Pact Warlock, became a creature tormented by his own wishes and haunted by the deeds of his treacherous past. As he delved deeper into the mysteries of the Far Realm, he found himself entangled in a web of Cosmic Horrors and otherworldly forces, forever seeking control or, perhaps, a way to cheat fate and claim the ultimate power he craved.
