Eilidic Tradition

The Elhondi Pantheon
Eilidic Tradition revolves around a pantheon of deities known as the Elhondi. Each deity represents different aspects of nature, magic, and the cycle of life. The pantheon is led by a supreme deity, known as Ardhan, who embodies balance and harmony.

Nature Worship
The Faelin revere the natural world and believe that the divine resides within every living being and natural phenomenon. They celebrate the changing seasons, the growth of plants, and the ebb and flow of the elements as sacred expressions of the Elhondi's will.

Sacred Grove
The Faelin hold a deep reverence for ancient groves, which serve as sacred spaces dedicated to the Elhondi. These groves are places of worship, meditation, and communion with nature. Druids, known as Eilidh, act as intermediaries between the mortal realm and the divine within these sacred spaces.

Cycle of Life
Eilidic Tradition places great importance on the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. They believe in the eternal nature of the soul, which transitions through various states of existence. They perform rituals and ceremonies to honor the departed and seek guidance from ancestral spirits.  They believe that to be born Faelin is the soul's highest, most enlightened form.

Magic and Mysticism
Magic holds a significant place within the tradition. They view magic as a gift from the Elhondi, a sacred force that flows through all things. Eilidhs play a vital role as keepers of ancient wisdom and wielders of mystical energies, using their abilities to heal, divine, and maintain the balance of nature.

Sacred Trees
Trees hold profound symbolism in these religious beliefs. Certain trees are considered sacred, believed to be vessels of divine presence. These ancient trees serve as focal points for rituals and ceremonies, and the Faelin seek guidance and blessings from the Elhondi by communing with these majestic beings.

Rituals and Ceremonies
Eilidic Tradition is rich in rituals and ceremonies performed during significant celestial events, seasonal transitions, and important milestones in an individual's life. These rituals involve offerings, chanting, dancing, and the recitation of sacred hymns to honor the Elhondi and seek their favor.

Ancestral Wisdom
Ancestor worship is an integral part of elven religious practices. The Faelin believe that their ancestors continue to guide and protect them from the spirit realm. They pay homage to their forebears through ancestral shrines and rituals, seeking wisdom, guidance, and blessings from their ancestral lineages.
