Caen Zauber was an archmage of the Hydra Collective, and acted as principal of the Enchantment school of Astralreach Academy. He directly oversaw many of the students there, as the Enchantment school is the least populous school for specialization. Additionally, he was the leader of the secretive Volker Program.

Caen Zauber was an elderly Human man with pale skin, a long grey beard with no mustache, and similarly long grey hair down from a largely bald head. He often wore the colors of his school, a deep purple with moving, mesmerizing waving lines drawing the eye.

Assets

Caen Zauber acted as principal of the Enchantment school at Astralreach Academy, and had access to all facilities and services there. Additionally, as a member of the Hydra Collective, he could act with almost complete freedom across Olessar.

He had a personal wizard's tower close to the preserved and maintained temple to Autori within Valduumia, his Enchanted Edifice. This tower was filled with his personal notes, coveted magic items, and uncountable spellbooks and scrolls related to his studies and research.
