Cygnus Klief was among the first famous bards in the aftermath of the Cataclysm. With the newfound autonomy of life on Al'tehrun, he founded the first school of its kind for bards: the College of the Swan in the year 4 GE.
Cygnus Klief often appeared as a shorter, pale Human with light blue hair curled into a colonial style, a sky blue jacket that hung on his shoulders and trailed behind him, and elegant grey and blue vest and clothes. He spoke easily and lightly, tending to be extremely agreeable and encouraging with whomever he was engaged with. He kept an air of affability and grace, but would enjoy dropping discerning details into conversation to gauge reactions.
Cygnus Klief had many apprentices and prodigies, and had continued to "live" as headmaster of the College of the Swan through the entirety Gait Era.
