While holding it, you can use an action to expend 1 or more of its charges to cast one of the following spells from it, using your spell save DC and spellcasting ability modifier: witch bolt (1 charge), lightning bolt (3 charges). or storm sphere (4 charges). The staff regains 1d6 + 4 expended charges daily at dawn. If you expend the last charge, roll a d20. On a 1 the staff vanishes in a sick guitar riff, lost forever.
Resonant Chord. When a spellcaster you can see within 30 feet of you casts a spell with a verbal component,
you can use a reaction to expend 1 charge to create a consonant
harmony. The spellcaster has advantage on the spell attack roll, or the
spell's save DC is increased by 1, whichever is most appropriate. Once used, this ability cannot be used again until the next dawn.
