The Inverted Spire was a prison beneath Solithar's Spire which holds the most dangerous criminals of the Olessar Empire. This was staffed by a company of Goldguard under the direct command of Captain Godfrey, who served as warden of the prison. As warden, Godfrey considers the Inverted Spire their lair, as seen in their stat post.
The prison's entrance was at the center of the tunnel which runs through the bottom of Solithar's Spire, from the north side in Sedesend's Ridge Ward to the south side outside of the city. Inside the iron door was a spiral staircase leading downward. The bottom of this staircase opened up to a metal-grate ceiling of the main portion of the prison: a panopticon with 20 layers, 26 cells on each layer, and a large circular base in the bottom. In the center of the bottom floor is a 20-foot diameter cut of wood, inlaid into the floor and carved with intricate runes for an anti-magic field to be projected down, below the floor and into the antimagic cell beneath the main panopticon. If the seal and the runes are destroyed, the accompanying antimagic field would be lifted. The only exit from the prison was out the entrance in the tunnel beneath Solithar's Spire, and to pass by the metal ceiling, the checkpoint through the top guard post must be passed through in order to enter or exit.
