Extradimensional temple and home to Falun Terani. It sits at the juncture of Void, Tower, Ends of Empyrean, and Chimerazon.Throughout this extradimensional space, reality shapes and shifts to conform to the thoughts and wishes of its inhabitants, creating chambers and items and circumstances which the visitors can visualize.
Several chamber are prepared to test outsiders.
- The Tower trial contains a long stone staircase leading up to a sun (Solen): as individuals proceed, the stairs roll up behind them spewing fire and lava forward as the way back chases them up the stairs to the next door (stats for the attacks were based off the Fire Hellion).
- The Void trial is pitch black, blinding even those with darkvision. Failing to find a way forward and avoid the labyrinth within, entrants may spend hours exhausting themselves wandering in the dark before finding the next door.
- The antechamber trial is a normal square room about 100 feet across, with a door at the end. Crossing the room triggers the Lair effect of the sphinx. On a fail, creatures are subject to aging up or down as they cross the room. Teleportation significantly decreases this effect.
- The Chimerazon chamber appears when too many conflicting thoughts clash upon opening a door. Inside, the room is a wild explosion of realities clashing. Nonsensical environments house random creatures which are hostile to any trespassers.
The final chamber is the Portal Chamber of the temple, which has a large stone platform at the back, which serves as Falun Terani, a set of stairs to the left leading up, overgrown plant life along the right wall, a hole to a black void in the center of the room, and a hole to the star-dappled exterior in the ceiling. Falun Terani uses this chamber as her lair, and no imagination or reality warping will override her designs.
The stairs lead to the Tower. The Chain Devil resides in a room up the tower, with innumerable chains hanging from the ceiling. It holds a stone with the rune for "Fa" inscribed in Infernal on its face.
The pit leads to the Void. In the pitch darkness, a Barlgura charges the first creature it sees, with a stone in its fist which has the rune for "Lun" inscribed in Abyssal.
The hole above the pit leads to the Ends of Empyrean. Floating in the expanse of stars and nebulas, infinite worlds in every direction, is a Simurg. Clitched in its talons is a stone with the rune "Ani" inscribed in Celestial.
The overgrown wall leads to the Chimerazon. Pushing through the foliage leads to a sizable pond (several hundred feet across, quickly turns deep) which is the home to an Undine. Floating within its body is a stone with the rune for "Ter" inscribed in Sylvan.
