Burub

Shaman

Burub was an older Orc shaman of the orcs of Qir'ellan'alak. She was a squat, wide woman with dark brown-green skin. She was missing her right eye, and her left eye changes drastically every day, as they are replaced with a new one from the collection.

Burub serves and heals the Orcs, as well as other citizens of Qir'ellan'alak who request her services (most stay away). She loved to collect eyes, and would perform any amount of magic or healing in exchange for an eye from the patient. She used the eyes to (allegedly) view the memories of those people, and/or observe the current sight of the creature in question. She enjoyed being very vague about her motivation for collecting these eyes.

Burub operated out of a low, wide hut at the back of the Orc village within Qir'ellan'alak, surrounded by child orcs huts (like the twins, Rulfirm and Rulfarm. In her hut was a column of crystals fashioned into rough-hewn jars and containers which housed over a hundred unique eyeballs. On her back wall was long sheets of free-hanging parchment attached to the wall, containing lists of physical descriptions of individuals (height, weight, race, eye color). On the left side of the building was a slate stone slab with drain rivulets in the sides, long enough to house a medium humanoid body. On the right side, behind a partition of leathers and hides, was a large mushroom cap bed.
