The chained whips of Carnifax, the whips are the embodiment of slaughter, drawing the focus of those hell bent of killing others through underhanded and brutal methods (Piddlewick II, for example).
These whips are teleported long ago to Rivelish, after the murder of the prominent archmage Echeppi the Quick as he attempted to escape his would-be killer. They settled in the vault in the bottom of the castle, comfortable in the structure's long history of cyclical death.
