Start: 27th of Airtifae, morning, waking up in Dr. Hulton's Home for Extraordinary Youngins. Piddlewick II is alongside.
In the morning, the party woke up and went downstairs to Aarri making pancakes. Aoife Sweeney was helping him deliver them to some of the residents (Raphael, Tinnel, Lodella Pondas). They also joined with Victor Hulton and Sivna in the main office. Sivna had her hat, and thanked the party curtly for rescuing her (she did not remember exactly what affected her to be so incapacitated). She went to leave, and the party asked her to be their guide through the snowy wastes and she agreed, on the term of them taking the long way around and going northwest first so she can return to her grove, the Circle of the Cracked Ice, whose exact location is well-guarded (but generally known to be in the northwestern region).
Gearing up to leave, the party resupplied with some local vendors: Meri Mistledown of Warm Scarves Full Hearts (Garyn post) sold them cold weather gear and some magic scarves to guard against the cold. Then they went across Kalter and bought a map of the country with some dangerous regions.
Leaving Garyn and traveling northwest with Piddlewick II and Sivna. The first day of travel went by uneventfully, and the party camped in the snow.
28th of Airtifae, in their travel the partied battled a pack of 4 Winter Wolves and were interrupted in the middle of the fight by a Roc. All of the creatures were defeated, and the party set out. Midday, they heard yelling from some creatures which Sivna identified as a pair of Yetis. They took a wide berth, and saw the two creatures beating each other bloody with their summoned ice weapons. Near the evening, the party hid from some white dragon flight overhead, and they rested again.
1st of Nasim, the party travelled further. Walking through a crater in the snow, Aoife Sweeney found and retrieved an icy, blunted silver greatsword with a broken hilt decorated like a bird's wing. In walking through the crater, they disturbed 3 Boneclaws under the snow who viciously attacked. Sivna almost died, but the party defeated them and escaped the crater. They traveled a bit and set up camp, and slept the night.
2nd of Nasim, in the morning, Sivna bid the party goodbye and directed them to travel for another 5 days northeast, east of a frozen lake to get to the excavation site. She continued on her own to the northwest, stating that she needed to inform Franaxis of the dangerous undead which she was previously unaware of.
