Start: 8th of Nasim, early afternoon, in the cavern of the snow people led by Pilgu about to head out with Pilgu's instructions to the entrance to Rivelish and paired with Piddlewick II's guidance. Jumping into a fight with 3 Snow Terrors in Pilgu's cavern.
The gang handled the 3 terrors easily, and earned the eternal respect and appreciation from Pilgu and his family. They shirt rested in his cave, and set off with his instructions the rest of the way to Rivelish. They traveled for another 30-45 minutes, and found a cave with a hole in the ice below - a 3 x 5 cut out with handholds carved in the side, like a ladder. The party descended, and entered the top of the South Spire of Rivelish. They navigated past the devastation orb in the top floor, and walked down the spiral stairs.
At the top landing, they investigated the rooms - the saw the 3 frozen devil cat familiars amongst the ruined furniture, and a frozen-over potion storage room. Beyond, they saw light and heard scrabbling and arguing in Halfling from the next room. Calliope engaged, and the party killed all 3 Halfling Vampires. Calliope used the potion of Invisibility, looted the Gaseous Form and Frost Giant strength potions, and the gang took the 2 mysteriously labeled potions, the spell/cook book, and the golden crown inside the locked chest before continuing downward.
Halfway down, they came to the ice bridge connecting the South Spire to the mostly-collapsed North Spire, and saw the swirling singularity with the amber glow at its center (to the Amber Prison demiplane). They moved past it and continued down. One the Court floor, they heard movement and saw rows of coffins, stone and wood alike, lining the wide hallway with more leading further into the chambers beyond, and the sounds of combat from the ground floor clarified. Moving down, the stairs led to the Chapel at the back of the castle, where about 50-60 vampires hurled fiery spells and attacks at a white Dragon which was bursting through the wall incrementally to hit the defensive line with frost breath. The dragon could swim in the ice and retreat, while the vampires were resistant to the cold and could regenerate, so the battle waged without much loss, though the dragon was slowly losing the battle of attrition.
Nesdin popped out and hit the crowd of vampires with a Sunburst spell, sending the group into this fight.
End: 8th of Nasim, late afternoon. Encounter with 6 swarms of Vampires and the Adult White Dragon in the Chapel on the ground floor of Rivelish, alongside Piddlewick II who had 1 HP.
