Mabon

Mabon is a god of the harvest and autumn in the Eileryan Faith. He is often depicted as a strong and robust figure, holding a sickle, or a cornucopia, and is associated with the abundance, fertility, and gratitude. Mabon is considered to be the ruler and protector of the harvest, and his followers believe that he governs over the cycles of growth, decay and renewal.

Mabons appearance is depicted as as being a young and handsome deity, with flowing hair and a charming smile, often carrying a scythe or other harvest symbols.  He is often decorated with autumnal images such as leaves or acorns.

As god of the harvest, Mabon is associated with the abundance of the crops and the fertility of the land. His followers may perform rituals to honour him and ask for his blessings and protection, particularly during the harvest season. They also believe that by honouring Mabon they will ensure a good harvest and bountiful crops in the future.

As god of autumn, Mabon is associated with the end of the growing season and the start of the dormant period. His followers may perform rituals to honour him and ask for his blessings and protection, particularly during the autumn equinox. They also believe that by honouring Mabon they will ensure a peaceful and prosperous dormant period.

The temples of Mabon are often found near the places of harvest and farming, and they are often decorated with images of the cornucopia, the sickle, and the symbols of the harvest. The priests and priestesses of Mabon are often chosen from those who have a connection to farming and harvest, such as farmers, and herders. They are responsible for performing ceremonies and rituals in honour of Mabon, such as the Harvest Rites, and the festival of Mabon.

Mabon's followers often wear earthy colours in his honour, as these are the colours associated with him. They may also wear jewellery with symbols of the harvest and autumn, or other symbols associated with farming such as sickles and cornucopias. They may also make offerings of food, and other items such as agricultural tools to Mabon, particularly when they are asking for his blessings or guidance.
