Dormant State
This weapon counts as a +1 Longsword (1d8 slashing damage/1d10 versatile)
On a hit, the target takes an additional 2d8 radiant damage. Undead creatures take an additional 1d8 radiant damage.
With a command word spoken you can cause the gem in the crossguard to light up and emit bright light for 10 ft. and dim light for an additional 10 ft. This light counts as sunlight.
Awakened State
The bonus to attack and damage rolls increases from +1 to +2.
Bonus Radiant damage increases from 2d8 to 3d8.
Divine Rupture: When an undead creature is killed by this weapon, a burst of radiant energy emits from its corpse. All creatures, other than the attuned, within 10 ft. of the undead must make a Constitution Saving throw (DC 15). On a failed saving throw, the target takes 2d6 radiant damage. On a success, they take half damage.
Exalted State
The bonus to attack and damage rolls increases from +2 to +3.
Bonus Radiant damage increases from 3d8 to 4d8.
Divine Rupture damage increases from 2d6 to 3d6 and the DC for the saving throw increases from 15 to 16.
