Proficiency with a Shortbow or Longbow allows you to add your proficiency bonus to attack rolls made with this weapon.

This bow is made of wood from the mystical trees of Valenwood. As a result, it is more flexible and easier to draw, giving a +1 to attack and damage rolls made with this weapon.

On a nat 20, the gems adorning this bow light up and fire off a magical arrow immediately after your shot, making another attack at your target and dealing 1d8 force damage on a hit. If the magical attack is also a nat 20, another shot is not fired.

On a nat 1, the gems adorning this bow light up and fire off a surge of feedback at you, dealing 1d8 force damage.

The Bosmer of Valenwood follow a religious practice known as the Green Pact, wherein, they believe that plantlife is a gift of Y'ffre and to use plantlife, in any way, is an affront to her and her love of the Bosmer. Thus, any Bosmer that follows the Green Pact will have great animosity for the existence of this bow and anyone who uses it.
