Welkynd Stones are bluish-white, glowing, magical stones with a metal inlay at their base. Created by ancient Ayleid, these items were used to focus magicka. What all their uses were is still a mystery to many, but the one thing that is evident to any brave adventurers who plumb the depths of Ayleid Ruins is that they were used as, essentially, light bulbs.
