(Very Rare Enchantment)
A Weapon of Requital is a weapon with the Requital enchantment placed upon it. The Requital Enchantment can be placed on any weapon type. To wield a Weapon of Requital requires attunement to the weapon.
A weapon with the Requital enchantment grants the following benefits to the attuned wielder:
- You gain a +1 bonus to attack and damage rolls.
- On a hit, you can spend 1 hit die to deal an additional 3d6 radiant damage.
- The critical hit range on this weapon is increased to 19 or 20, while the critical failure range is also increased to 1 or 2.
This enchantment is considered a curse, and while attuned, you cannot speak of the magical curse effects of this enchantment and desire not to part with the weapon. The following effects are also imparted upon the wielder by this curse.
- If you critically miss, you take 3d6 necrotic damage instead.
- When you are magically healed, you must also spend one of your hit die. If you ever receive healing and have no hit die to spend, you immediately die.
