Wondrous Item, Legendary, Requires Attunement (Wizard, Sorcerer, Warlock)
A legendary amulet created by Mannimarco, the King of Worms. The wearer becomes wise beyond his years and far more capable in the school of Conjuration. The amulet is unstable in this world and is prone to vanishing and reappearing in a different location.
While attuned, the wielder gains 2 Pact Magic Spell Slots. These spell slots, when used to cast a spell, are cast at whatever your highest level spell slot that you have access to is. (Regardless of the spell, if you have access to 5th-level spell slots as your highest level slot, the spell cast with one of these spell slots is cast as a 5th-level spell.)
When you cast a Conjuration spell that has a saving throw imposed upon your target, the DC for that save has a +1 bonus to its DC.
Additionally, while attuned to this amulet, you heal for less than usual. Any time you receive hit points from a healing effect or healing spell, you recover 25% fewer hit points than are rolled. (-1 for every 4 gained.)
Cursed: While you are attuned to this item, you are unable to remove the item or unattuning from it. A voice enters your mind and talks to you from time to time, offering you more power and more control over Conjuration magic as time progresses. If you try to talk to anyone about the voice you hear, you find yourself suddenly incapable of speech. Any words and dialog that bring to mind things relating to necromancy, conjuration, power, the Necromancer's Amulet, or Mannimarco, cannot be uttered. Any efforts to circumvent this restriction result in pain. Repeated efforts result in Soul Trap being cast upon your soul and the effort being made to kill you and store your soul within the soul gem that forms the skull pattern on the face of the pendant.
To remove the curse, a Greater Restoration can possibly cure it, or a Wish spell will succeed in severing you from its bond.
