Elsweyr is the homeland of the Khajiit. After the events of the Void Nights (4th Era 95-97) the Thalmor were able to sow some respect among the Khajiit people. The eventual political argument over Imperial or Dominion support divided the nation into two smaller nation-states, that of Pellitine and Anequina whom the Dominion later annexed as vassal states.
