Founded by the Corvinus Dynasty of the Empire, at the start of the 5th era, the Denarii became the new currency used after the reforms of the ending of Dominion control over Tamriel. Modeled as a reformation of the previous Septim, the coins still bear some of the faces of Septim emperors, but also include the faces of Reman Cyrodiil and the first Emperor of the new age on these coins.
