The Thalmor are a political entity that has often fought to manipulate, control, and master the government of the Summerset Isles. At the end of the Oblivion Crisis was their most recent rise to power, where they convinced the people of Summerset that they were responsible for the Oblivion Crisis's end. With that, they were able to gain control of the government in Summerset and reinstate the Aldmeri Dominion.
