After escaping the sewers, the party head for the city of Cheydinhal, in order to find refuge for the civilians following them out of the Imperial City. In the middle of the night, Valaya Mithlasse finds them in a camp and teleports them back to the city. After finishing their night's rest, they begin the first day of classes at the Arcane University.
Curious about what happened with the attack, they have a conversation with Valaya in her office and eventually set back out to the Ayleid Ruin they saw the previous day. Exploring it, they find a group of Tsaesci hidden in the ruins as well. Clearly, this attack was not the limit of the Tsaesci's presence in Tamriel.
