On the morning of the 14th of Hearthfire, the party joined up with Professor Raharn to head off on the first Dwemer Ruin expedition planned for the year. Upon arrival to the classroom, the few other people going on the expedition with them, were Trixie, Parisha Hassan, Kalline Blackwood, Grogul Gload, and two other individuals they had not met and did not know yet; one Altmer and one Dunmer.
Through a temporary teleportation circle, Raharn teleported them into the Jerall Mountains between Skyrim and Cyrodiil, up northeast of the city of Bruma. The ruins were called Numzbtharz. Upon entry, a few things were already evident. There were broken-down Dwemer Automatons, slain Falmer, and some slain Shroudborn. After a little exploration, some Shroud was discovered and a menagerie of mushrooms were sighted. Quickly, they came upon a large mushroom and were forced to deal with Shroudborn in the area.
