Frostbite Venom (Injury)

The venom of Frostbite spiders is debilitating. While the physical harm is sometimes seen as negligible, there are secondary effects.

Usable as a component in other poisons, the venom itself does act similarly to the effects of concocted poisons.

A creature subjected to this venom must make a DC 14 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, they take 1d6 poison damage and may only perform an action or a bonus action, not both, on their next turn. On a success, half as much damage and no other effect is applied.

Injury. Injury poison can be applied to weapons, ammunition, trap components, and other objects that deal piercing or slashing damage and remains potent until delivered through a wound or washed off. A creature that takes piercing or slashing damage from an object coated with the poison is exposed to its effects.
