Dwemeri Cogs

The foundation of the Dwemer currency is old. There is no definitive date of its first use, but it has been roughly 5,000 years since the Dwemer disappeared and their currency was lost from circulation. It is perhaps still in use, if the Dwemer exist on some other plane or realm today, but with no knowledge of what actually happened with their disappearance from Tamriel, there is no way to confirm. Nevertheless, they used different substances for their currency, and its base value is less than that of most currencies of the day, however, as a collector's item, there is some desire and value in possessing these old coins for reasons other than their material worth. With no known name for the currency, but their fascination with mechanical production, the Dwemer coins have been termed "Cogs."
