One of many Khajiit who did not believe the Thalmor claims regarding the void nights, he was subjected like the rest to the Skooma addiction trials that made him into a slave of the Thalmor. Once he got himself clean of Skooma, he rebelled with many other Khajiit and took to the seas to escape the Thalmor slave camps. He became a pirate and began stealing from Dominion merchant vessels and funneled the goods to Hammerfell, High Rock, and Cyrodiil.
In time, he and his Alley Cats came into contact with the Nightmist Clan, a band of smugglers, thieves, and other degenerates who once had legitimate livelihoods. With the Nightmist Clan they became the underground and black market proprietors that helped anyone else rebelling against the Dominion or those that were simply looked down on and oppressed by civilized society.
