The Doomblade Cult exists to draw people into the realms of Yomi, to bring love and affection to their matron, Izanami. Wronged by her husband, Izanagi, they oppose all who follow and support him. Additionally, they are in part opposed to worshippers of Susano'O, Tsukuyomi, and Amaterasu, as they are children born of Izanagi, but not Izanami, and thus products of Izanagi's unfaithfulness to his bride.
Followers of the Doomblade Cult, get weapons blessed with Izanami's scorn, able to inflict additional thunder damage, representing the words of rebuke she shouted at her former husband, and the power of death bestowed upon her by the birthing of her child whom Izanagi then slew, despite how hard she struggled to give him life.
