Dragon Determination tables

In the Elder Scrolls world, Dragon capabilities are not determined by the color of their scales. The color of their scales is a completely separate feature.

Color

In the Elder Scrolls world, the color of a Dragon's scales is inconsequential. In some study, the color determines the strength of a Dragon, creating a hierarchy beyond age, but in most cases, it does not matter, as all Dragons are capable of honing their capabilities.

The only limitations in color is that history has shown that there are only two unique Dragons in the whole of history. Alduin, the first son of Akatosh, is the only known Dragon to have black scales. Likewise, Akatosh himself has never been known to be seen by human eyes outside of the events of the Oblivion Crisis, and the color of his scales are debated.

Otherwise, a Dragon's scales are known to have the following colors:

d10Color
1Orange
2Yellow
3Green
4Blue
5Red
6Pink
7White
8Gray
9Purple
10Brown
