Construct

Many people said it couldn't be done, but the mages of the Era Magical did it, so why can't we?

Able Sinmeas

ABLES are a modern creation thanks to the advent of arcano-tech. The name ABLE stands for Active for Battle, Labour, and Emergencies, they were created for many tasks that were deemed too dangerous for a humanoid to perform.

In large cities like Midiston or the Capital Academy, ABLEs can be found very often, whether they be construction workers, dotted in the ranks of the King's Guard. It's even said that the Vinadan army has an entire regiment of ABLEs trained specifically for war.

ABLE adventurers aren't uncommon, many times they are told to protect a certain individual who is an adventurer, so they stay alongside them, or if an ABLE is left without a task to perform for too long, they are able to do whatever they so please, though their original task may influence what they do.

Ancient Technology

Alongside the invention of the Ables lies a deeper, and more archaic, construct that functioned similarly to the Ables. These constructs, called Pretermatons, were invented in the Era Magical, created as less of fully sentient beings and rather as weaker golems but much easier to create. These Pretermatons are believed to have been used in the Era Martial in the War of the Gods, and after the Shattering they were lost to time.

It wasn't until recently in the ruins of an old city within the Shattered Isles that the Pretermatons were found, the information of their original tasks were lost to time, so now they are able to wander the world and explore this future, yet less advanced, world that they recently awoke to.
