Before him stood a shadow that took its form as a man mounted upon a horse. His body was cloaked in rugged black shrouds that flew like burnt flags in the cold midnight wind. A black hood shrouded his unseen face, encompassing it in a shadow darker than the darkest of woodland midnights. His skeleton hands were bony and grey as his skin hugged his bones tighter than how a crying child hugs their mother. In one hand, it grasped the reigns to its hideous beast of a horse. 

The horse had empty eyes that were black and cold like the depths of a deep cave’ and its body ridged and thin like an old goat. A black creature the horse was, with no face to speak of, but instead the skull of a bull that stared angrily from its crooked neck. Other than the skull, as it was a grimy white-gray color, not a patch of the horse remind unscathed by its disease of darkness. Two little horns protruded from its skull like snakes slithering from their homes deep in the underworld with pointed tips that glared like bloody knives.
In the other hand the man who was mounted clenched a peculiar weapon. His hand grasped the end of a long whip that curled behind him and disappeared into teh shadows beyond. Its length was immeasurable, as it dragged on the floor with no end in sight of the dim light that glared off their dark outlines. It was not a whip of the likes Fisk had ever seen before however. It appeared, as to him, to be made by linking many bones together in a long strand, until it accrued to him that it was in fact a long winding spine. Such a long spine Fisk could not, nor wished to, understand the origins of, but whatever creature’s back it once supported, would have been a monstrous creature of the likes of mythical dragons.
