A purplish-silver Dragon large enough to dwarf the most ancient of Orth's Dragons. Her breath is capable of being any known Dragon type, but she appears to favour purple flames which ignore divine protections.
Her origins predate written history, but the God's have been known to tremble at her name. The Nameless One recorded the day he wrestled her in the folly of youth and had to be rescued by the combined might of Leannan and Dezrael. It was in this encounter she had her left wing forcibly torn from her body.
She was eventually defeated during A Short Month by the combined efforts of The Nameless One, Dezrael and a newly-ascended Bel, Thgirb was decapitated, her divine essence removed and her body destroyed. Her head was unable to be destroyed however, so Bel trapped it at the bottom of Neró's endless ocean, hundreds of miles deep and held in place with enchanted adamantine chains and many magical barriers. She still plots against those she hates, but can now only act through others.
