Lugh Devliss was the main opponent of the future Virion I Quinnlee during the The Wars of Tiran Unification. He was defeated in the First Battle of Coillearnach, and his defeat is depicted in the Temperance card of Dezrael's infamous Deck of Many Things. Rather than kill him however, Virion I made him his Chancellor, which he served admirably as for many years.
His tomb is on the southern edge of what is now Old Treighte Cemetery, just outside Balla near the ruins of Castle Tréigthe, and one of the few parts of the old town remaining. He is also purported to be the ancestor of House de'Valice, though this is highly debated.
