Halflings, or Hin as they preferred when conversing with their kin, are a small humanoid species so called because they were approximately half the size of a human. Halflings have a natural affinity for nature and nature's bounty, thoroughly enjoying all pleasures and luxuries nature could provide. While typically not the adventuring sort, halflings abhorred boredom and are extremely curious, amazingly lucky, and supremely industrious, often making them ideal travel companions.
