Tieflings are planetouched humanoids who have fiendish ancestry from devils, demons, or evil deities that bred with humans. Although their evil ancestry could be generations removed, the taint of their bloodline always persisted, dominating tieflings' physical characteristics, but not their minds - all tieflings were free to choose to be who they wanted.
