Shou are humans that make up the vast majority of the population of the sub-continent of Kara-tur, east of Faerûn. The dominant political power in Kara-tur, the empire of Shou Lung, established extensive overland and waterway trade with eastern Faerûn thousands of years in the past. East to west trade along the Sea of Fallen Stars brought large numbers of Shou immigrants to the major ports cities, particularly along The Dragon Coast. Shou are usually on the shorter side with a wide range of body types, yellowish-bronze skin, black hair and dark eyes.
