Ibrandul was the chaotic neutral god of darkness (specifically in caverns, dungeons, and the Underdark) until he was slain by Shar who usurped his Portfolio. He favored and was favored by all Underdark creatures, but was especially attached to lizard-form creatures. While he was destroyed long ago, many in the Underdark still worship him and attest to his power and existence, for nothing is ever as it seems in the deepest, darkest depths of that Realm.
